About the Role

Banvira Company is seeking a full-time, on-site Accountant in Jeddah, Makkah. This role involves managing daily financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting financial reporting processes. The Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity and compliance within the company.

Key Responsibilities

Record daily financial transactions and prepare journal entries.
Maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
Prepare financial statements and reports.
Assist in budget preparation and forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform bank and company account reconciliations.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Collaborate with internal departments and provide financial insights to management.
Assist with audit preparations and process improvements to enhance financial controls.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus.
5-10 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role, preferably within the retail, beauty, or FMCG sectors.
Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including reconciliation.
Familiarity with accounting software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and local tax and regulatory requirements.

Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work on-site in Jeddah and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
