About Elite Fancy Food and the Role

Role Overview

The Accountant will play a key role within the company's finance department, contributing to the accurate and timely management of financial records and reporting. This position is integral to supporting the overall financial operations of Elite Fancy Food and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Prepare and process journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with established accounting principles and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits as required.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
