Role Overview: Cluster Accounts Payable

The Cluster Accounts Payable role involves managing financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the Finance team to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial processes. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on reconciling accounts, managing budgets, processing payments, and ensuring proper recording of all financial transactions. The role works closely with the Finance Manager to maintain financial integrity and assist with audits.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare and submit accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports on time.
Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve issues by reviewing accounts, bank statements, and financial reports.
Assist in budget preparation and management, monitoring expenses against financial targets.
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely invoice processing and payments.
Support payroll processing to ensure accurate records and timely employee payments.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare necessary documentation for tax filings.
Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate funds for business operations.
Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to financial processes and accuracy of reporting.
Assist with external audits by providing documentation and supporting auditor requests.
Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for senior management and other departments.
Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, including tracking and reporting.
Support the Finance Manager in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and systems.
Provide financial insights and reports to management, suggesting improvements in financial operations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and accurate financial information flow.
Perform other duties as required to support the efficient operation of the Finance department.

Qualifications and Experience

5-10 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports.
Experience with account reconciliation, budget management, and payment processing.
Familiarity with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal audit procedures.
