The Role of an Electrical Power Engineer

Dar is seeking an Electrical Power Engineer to join its team in Makkah. This full-time role involves supporting and overseeing electrical power systems within a Maintenance and Operation project. The primary objective is to ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, and performance of electrical infrastructure, adhering to project specifications, safety standards, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and supervise the maintenance and operation of electrical power systems and equipment.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance for electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, and distribution networks.
Ensure all electrical maintenance activities comply with project specifications and safety regulations.
Diagnose electrical faults and coordinate corrective maintenance activities.
Review electrical maintenance plans and ensure proper implementation.
Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors to ensure efficient operation of electrical systems.
Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and inspection reports.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during electrical maintenance activities.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical power engineering, specifically related to the operation and maintenance of electrical systems.
