The Opportunity: Electronic Technician - Engineering

Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah is seeking an Electronic Technician to join its Engineering Department. This full-time role is based in Makkah and involves maintaining and repairing electronic systems within the luxury hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electronic equipment, AV/VA systems, control systems, and related devices.
• Read and interpret electronic drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Diagnose electronic faults and perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Inspect and test electronic systems, PAVA equipment, AV/VA systems, sensors, controllers, and related components.
• Replace or repair defective electronic components, circuit boards, sensors, relays, and wiring.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electronic, AV/VA equipment, and PAVA equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury 5-star property.
• Secondary education is required; vocational certification and trade qualification in Electronics are preferred.
• Strong technical skills in electronics, PAVA equipment, AV/VA systems, basic computer literacy, and knowledge of safety and building systems.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse environments.
