Role Overview

Jeddah Transport Company (شركة مواصلات جدة) is seeking an Investment Partnership & Development Director to spearhead its business development and growth initiatives. This pivotal role involves leading the origination, structuring, and commercialization of strategic investments, partnerships, and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) opportunities. The Director will be responsible for driving market expansion, shaping partnership strategy, executing deals, and ensuring value realization across the entire lifecycle of these opportunities.

Strategic Business Development

• Define and lead the Business Development strategy in alignment with JTC’s corporate and portfolio objectives.
• Identify, originate, and prioritize strategic business, investment, and PPP opportunities.
• Build, manage, and continuously refine a robust BD and investment pipeline to support long-term growth.
• Lead market, sector, and competitive intelligence efforts to inform growth initiatives and strategic positioning.
• Establish and manage strategic relationships with government, semi-government, and private sector stakeholders.
• Lead senior-level engagement and alignment across multiple stakeholders to enable complex partnerships and PPPs.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop long-term strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alliances.
• Provide leadership in structuring, negotiating, and closing PPPs, joint ventures, and major commercial agreements.

Commercial and Financial Management

• Approve and oversee the development of business models, revenue structures, pricing strategies, and value capture mechanisms.
• Ensure contractual frameworks are commercially viable, bankable, and aligned with risk allocation and governance requirements.
• Oversee the commercial performance of partnerships and investments to ensure delivery of targeted financial and strategic outcomes.
• Ensure agreements are effectively translated into operational, financial, and performance metrics during execution.
• Direct the monitoring of SLAs, KPIs, and revenue commitments, and lead corrective actions when performance gaps arise.
• Provide direction and oversight on financial modeling, investment analysis, and commercial due diligence.
• Contribute to capital planning, budgeting, and long-term financial forecasts related to growth initiatives.

Operational Integration and Leadership

• Ensure business plans are executable and supported by operational and organizational capabilities.
• Identify and oversee the management of commercial, financial, and strategic risks across BD initiatives and partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory frameworks, and corporate governance standards.
• Support investment and approval committees with commercial insights and recommendations.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with planning, technical, operations, finance, and legal teams throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to BD team members and contribute to talent development.
• Establish best practices, tools, and frameworks to strengthen business development and partnership capabilities.
• Oversee the development of executive-level reports, dashboards, and performance insights for senior management.
• Provide strategic updates and recommendations to executive leadership and relevant boards or committees.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this position are required to have 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in investment partnerships, business development, or a closely related field.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role demands a proactive and collaborative approach, working with diverse internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic growth objectives.
