About the Role

Neproplast is seeking an experienced Mixer Operator to join its Plastic Pipes Manufacturing team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to the production of high-quality plastic pipes through the meticulous preparation and mixing of raw materials. The position requires a solid understanding of production specifications, quality standards, safety protocols, and operational efficiency targets to ensure the effective functioning of the mixing department. This full-time opportunity allows for contribution to a leading manufacturing company within the Saudi Arabian market, focusing on essential materials for plastic pipe production.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor mixing equipment used in plastic pipe manufacturing.
• Prepare raw material batches precisely according to approved formulations, production plans, and work instructions.
• Ensure accurate weighing, dosing, and thorough mixing of polymers, additives, masterbatch, stabilizers, and other necessary raw materials.
• Verify that all prepared mixed materials meet required quality standards before release to the production line.
• Continuously monitor mixing parameters and adjust operating conditions to achieve consistent product quality.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, and Maintenance departments for seamless operational flow.
• Identify and report any material, process, or equipment abnormalities.
• Take immediate corrective action for process deviations or quality issues.
• Maintain accurate records of batch preparation, material consumption, and production activities.
• Ensure proper storage, clear identification, and traceability of raw materials and batches.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness in the mixing area.
• Ensure strict compliance with all company safety procedures and environmental requirements.
• Assist in training and guiding junior operators and production laborers.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and material utilization.
• Support emergency and shutdown activities as required.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or a Technical Diploma.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in plastic pipes manufacturing, plastic compounding, polymer processing, extrusion, or related plastics industries.
• Proven experience handling raw materials such as HDPE, PPR, PVC, or other thermoplastic materials.
• Solid understanding of raw material preparation, blending, and mixing processes.
• Ability to comprehend and follow production specifications and batch formulations.
• Basic knowledge of quality requirements within the plastics manufacturing sector.
• A strong commitment to safety, housekeeping, and operational discipline.
• Willingness and ability to work in rotating shifts.

• Experience with automated mixing and material conveying systems is advantageous.
• Familiarity with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement practices is preferred.
• Possession of First Aid, Fire Fighting, and Emergency Response training is an advantage.

Work Environment and Details
