About Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah

Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah is located minutes from Masjid Al Haram in Makkah. The hotel features a range of dining venues, retail outlets, a gym, executive lounge, and meeting spaces across four towers. Guests can experience views of the Grand Mosque and a culinary offering that includes Mediterranean, Persian, Middle Eastern, and Southeast Asian cuisines.

The Role: Procurement Specialist

Jumeirah Jabal Omar is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join its Procurement team in Makkah. This is a full-time position requiring 0-1 years of experience in procurement. The role involves managing procurement activities for goods and services in alignment with operational requirements, budgets, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement activities for goods and services in line with operational requirements, approved budgets, and company policies.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, and support price and commercial negotiations to achieve best value.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure all procurement documentation is complete, accurate, and properly approved.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor open purchase orders, delivery timelines, and pending requirements, and follow up on any delays or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate supplier records, quotations, contracts, and procurement-related documentation.
  • Support supplier performance reviews and assist in identifying reliable and cost-effective sourcing options.
  • Ensure all procurement activities are fully compliant with Jumeirah’s internal procurement policies, approval processes, delegated authorities, and applicable procedures.
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit readiness for procurement transactions in accordance with internal control requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 0-1 years of experience in a procurement role.
  • Ability to manage procurement activities in line with company policies and budgets.
  • Proficiency in preparing and processing purchase orders and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Strong coordination and follow-up skills for timely delivery and issue resolution.
  • Understanding of internal control requirements for procurement transactions.

Compensation and Benefits
