Overview of the Role

Nadir Ali Shah HR Consultants is seeking a Seller Manager on behalf of MySouq, a marketplace preparing for launch. This full-time position, based in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia, is primarily a commercial role focused on expanding MySouq's seller base. The successful candidate will initially concentrate on identifying, acquiring, and activating quality merchants, subsequently shifting focus to seller growth, retention, and account management. This role is critical for establishing a robust merchant ecosystem to support MySouq's marketplace growth and GMV objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and source high-potential sellers aligned with MySouq's category and growth strategy.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective merchants, conducting outreach, meetings, presentations, and commercial pitches.
• Negotiate commercial terms, commissions, pricing, promotions, and partnership agreements.
• Convert qualified prospects into signed sellers and develop relationships with brands, retailers, distributors, wholesalers, and online merchants.
• Manage the complete seller onboarding process from initial agreement through activation, coordinating with internal teams for efficiency.
• Ensure sellers complete required documentation, product listings, pricing, inventory, and operational requirements.
• Train sellers on marketplace tools, policies, processes, and best practices, identifying and resolving onboarding challenges.
• Develop individual growth plans for key sellers, driving performance, GMV, product assortment, and customer engagement.
• Monitor seller performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and increase seller retention and long-term marketplace engagement.
• Build strong relationships with key merchants and act as their primary commercial contact.
• Work with sellers to develop and execute promotional campaigns, driving participation in marketplace initiatives.
• Negotiate promotional offers, discounts, and bundles, coordinating with Marketing and Commercial teams to maximize campaign performance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in seller management, vendor management, account management, business development, or marketplace operations.
• Experience in e-commerce, online marketplaces, retail, distribution, or digital platforms is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in seller/merchant acquisition and commercial negotiations.
• Experience onboarding and training external partners, merchants, vendors, or sellers.
• Experience managing a small team is preferred.
• Strong track record of growing a partner, merchant, vendor, or account portfolio.
• Strong understanding of marketplace business models and seller economics.
