The Role of Senior Accountant

THRAA is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations. This full-time, on-site position is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate financial records and efficient accounting processes. The role is critical in supporting management with financial insights for investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare and review financial statements.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and local regulations.
Monitor internal controls and analyze variances.
Support internal and external audits.
Provide financial insights to management to guide investment decisions.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in accounting.
Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis.
Proficiency in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The Senior Accountant will work within a collaborative environment, engaging with various teams to maintain financial integrity and operational efficiency.
