About the Role

Role Overview

The Senior Integration Support Specialist plays a critical role in architecting scalable and efficient integration solutions while adhering to best practices and standards. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of API technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. This position focuses on designing and developing robust integration architectures for Salla's Ecommerce SaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust integration architectures for smooth communication between the Ecommerce SaaS platform and external systems (ERP, CRM, payment gateways, third-party applications).
• Design and maintain high-quality APIs to facilitate data exchange and system interoperability, collaborating with internal teams to define API specifications and ensure industry standard compliance.
• Conduct thorough testing of API integrations to ensure functionality, data accuracy, and error handling.
• Work closely with clients to understand specific integration requirements and provide tailored solutions, customizing integration workflows to meet unique business needs while maintaining scalability and reliability.
• Investigate and resolve integration-related issues promptly, providing technical support to clients and internal teams on integration best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to align integration efforts with overall product development and business objectives, and to architect scalable solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, APIs, and troubleshooting guides, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
• Manage API versioning and handle upgrades while ensuring backward compatibility when necessary.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to Ecommerce integrations, evaluating and recommending new tools and technologies.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for API endpoints, ensuring data privacy and integrity.
• Optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability through proper caching, load balancing, and error handling strategies.

Required Qualifications
