About Evara Engineering and the Role

Evara Engineering is seeking a highly qualified Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join its team in Al Ahsa, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to our design and technical office operations, requiring a professional with extensive experience in multidisciplinary coordination and specialized project types.

Key Focus of the Position

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will contribute to the successful execution of projects by applying strong design and technical office expertise. A robust background in Hospital and Healthcare Projects is essential for this role, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project-specific requirements.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive design reviews for various mechanical systems.
• Manage technical office functions, including the preparation of shop drawings and material submittals.
• Address Requests for Information (RFIs) and conduct detailed technical calculations.
• Ensure effective multidisciplinary coordination across all project phases.
• Contribute expertise in the design and implementation of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Medical Gas systems.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and technical office roles.
• Demonstrated strong experience in Hospital and Healthcare Projects is a mandatory requirement.

Essential Technical Skills and Knowledge

• Excellent background in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Medical Gases, and related mechanical systems.
• Strong experience in Design Review, Technical Office procedures, Shop Drawings, Material Submittals, RFIs, and Technical Calculations.
• Good knowledge of applicable international and Saudi codes and standards.
• BIM/Revit experience is highly preferred for this position.
