Receiver Kitchen

About the Role

Courtyard by Marriott is seeking a Receiver Kitchen to join its team in Jubail, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing the receiving, processing, and distribution of goods, ensuring accuracy and security within the receiving area. The position requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to established procedures for inventory management and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process deliveries, verifying incoming goods against invoices and receiving slips.
• Organize goods by department, indicate their placement in the warehouse, and deliver them to the relevant departments.
• Verify and track received inventory, completing inventory slips and reports accurately.
• Reconcile delivery invoices and receiving slips to ensure correct quantities.
• Receive, store, ship, and deliver incoming and outgoing packages and mail for various departments.
• Ensure the security of the receiving room and its contents, including secure storage of packages.
• Comply with all national, regional, and local guidelines and regulations for shipping hazardous materials.
• Ship all outgoing packages and mail, verifying the number of packages and their condition upon receipt before handover.
• Communicate with customers to notify them of package receipt and maintain an accurate tracking system, including obtaining customer signatures.
• Communicate with the appropriate manager in case of lost or damaged packages.
• Report accidents, injuries, and hazardous working conditions to the manager, and complete required safety training and certifications.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds (* kg) without assistance.
• Capability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, and machinery for defects.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of various sizes and weights, requiring excellent motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to reach objects overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Capability to move in narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and on sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces or steps.
• Ability to ascend and descend stairs and service ramps.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 0-1 years of related work experience. No supervisory experience is required.
• Certifications: No specific license or certification is required.
