About the Role

Weatherford is seeking a Repair & Maintenance Technician I Well Service to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This is a full-time, entry-level position designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, providing hands-on technical support for equipment and tool production and repair within a shop environment.

Role Overview

The Repair & Maintenance Technician I will be responsible for the full lifecycle of well service tools and equipment, from receipt and disassembly to final assembly and storage. This role emphasizes adherence to documentation requirements and participation in safety protocols to ensure a secure and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, disassemble, clean, pressure test, visually check, paint, assemble, load, and store tools and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all necessary documentation requirements for all tasks performed.
• Participate actively in daily operations, safety meetings, toolbox sessions, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
• Promptly report any issues or concerns using the appropriate reporting tools and procedures.
• Follow established maintenance processes and procedures for all tool handling and processing tasks.
• Maintain equipment, facilities, and work areas to ensure a presentable and safe working condition.
• Repair machines, equipment, or structures using various tools, including hammers, hoists, cranes, drills, and wrenches.
• Inspect used parts to determine dimensional requirements utilizing precision measuring instruments such as rules, calipers, and micrometers.
• Utilize all tools and lifting equipment for opening and closing crates and containers.
• Operate pallet and forklift trucks for the safe movement of equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in a related technical or maintenance role.
• Ability to perform hands-on technical support for equipment production and repair.
• Proficiency in using various hand and power tools for repair and maintenance tasks.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments is required.
• Certification for operating lifting equipment, forklift trucks, and cranes is mandatory.

Work Environment

This role operates within a shop environment, focusing on the repair and maintenance of well service equipment. The position is based in Al Khobar, Eastern, and is a full-time commitment.
