About Wood and the Role

Wood is a global leader in consulting, engineering, and operations, serving the energy and materials sectors. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planner/Scheduler (PMC) to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, with assignments to various remote project sites across the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

Develop schedules that clearly indicate specific milestones agreed upon in the contract.
Create and deliver resource-loaded, robust baseline project schedules.
Produce all project plans and associated documents, including “S” curves, Histograms, and tabulated man-hour/progress data.
Prepare required weekly and monthly progress reports for the project.
Provide comprehensive analysis of progress and schedule performance, encompassing productivity and critical path assessments.
Furnish the Project Team with relevant planning and reporting information.
Ensure that all services and deliverables conform to Company, Client, and Project QA Plan, policies, requirements, and standards.
Periodically update schedules to incorporate scope changes, latest progress, and delivery information.
Assist with the development of change notifications by highlighting schedule impact and support related tracking and re-baselining efforts.
Obtain deliverables and drawing lists and updates from various disciplines, then distribute compiled reports.
Ensure the project team is consistently aware of Project targets.
Provide forecasts for recovery to the plan when required.
Promote positive working relationships within Project Controls Teams, other project departments, and with client representatives.
Ensure all planning work adheres to Corporate and Project-specific procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

An Engineering Degree is mandatory.
A minimum of 10 years of relevant scheduling experience.
Proven experience as a user of Primavera P6.
Knowledge of ARAMCO standards and procedures.
Practical applied experience in planning and scheduling.

Good numerical, analytical, and literacy skills, coupled with strong attention to detail.
Possesses strong planning and organizational skills and is accustomed to meeting tight deadlines.

Work Environment

The Senior Planner/Scheduler will work closely with Project Controls Teams, various project departments, and client representatives, ensuring all planning activities comply with corporate and project-specific procedures.
