Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to oversee and manage the procurement activities of our contracting company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring high-quality materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices while ensuring compliance with project requirements, company policies, and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring high-quality materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices while ensuring compliance with project requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and project timelines.
- Forecast material and equipment needs based on project specifications and schedules.
- Vendor & Supplier Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and subcontractors.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Cost Control & Budgeting:
- Work closely with project managers and finance teams to manage procurement budgets.
- Ensure cost savings without compromising quality and project deadlines.
- Purchase Order & Contract Management:
- Prepare, review, and issue purchase orders and procurement contracts.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project requirements.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and contract disputes.
- Inventory & Logistics Coordination:
- Oversee inventory management to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for smooth material handling and storage.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 57 years of experience in procurement within the construction or contracting industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
- Familiarity with local and international procurement laws and regulations.
- Ability to analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost structures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience handling procurement for MEP, civil, and infrastructure projects.
- Certification in CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or similar is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement management tools.
