Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to oversee and manage the procurement activities of our contracting company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring high-quality materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices while ensuring compliance with project requirements, company policies, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and project timelines.
    • Forecast material and equipment needs based on project specifications and schedules.
  • Vendor & Supplier Management:
    • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and subcontractors.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
    • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Cost Control & Budgeting:
    • Work closely with project managers and finance teams to manage procurement budgets.
    • Ensure cost savings without compromising quality and project deadlines.
  • Purchase Order & Contract Management:
    • Prepare, review, and issue purchase orders and procurement contracts.
    • Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project requirements.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and contractual obligations.
    • Mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and contract disputes.
  • Inventory & Logistics Coordination:
    • Oversee inventory management to prevent shortages or overstocking.
    • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for smooth material handling and storage.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 57 years of experience in procurement within the construction or contracting industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
  • Familiarity with local and international procurement laws and regulations.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost structures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience handling procurement for MEP, civil, and infrastructure projects.
  • Certification in CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or similar is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement management tools.
