MCC Engineer

About the Role

SAMI Airbus is seeking an MCC Engineer to join their team in Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring optimal in-service support and maintenance solutions, contributing to excellent fleet availability while upholding the highest quality and safety standards.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to support the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) in achieving operational excellence. The MCC Engineer will play a key role in managing maintenance tasks from initiation through to completion, ensuring efficient aircraft recovery and adherence to maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a cross-functional point for evaluating maintenance tasks received from CAMO and overseeing their execution through the MRO until closure.
• Arrange necessary tools, materials, hangar space, and manpower for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
• Manage Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations by coordinating with all stakeholders to facilitate aircraft recovery.
• Review and evaluate Pilot Fault Reports (PFRs) and plan corrective actions as required.
• Monitor and evaluate Minimum Equipment List (MEL) and Configuration Deviation List (CDL) items, planning maintenance actions for their timely closure.
• Support long-term planning and create short-term plans for aircraft maintenance.
• Create and manage work packages in the ERP system and maintain hard copies for Line/Base maintenance.
• Monitor aircraft logbooks and manage any discrepancies identified.
• Maintain technical records in the ERP system for the assigned fleet.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Formal training on Airbus Fleet.
• A minimum of four (4) years of experience working in an MCC or a similar environment.
