About the Assistant, Bar Sorter Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking a dedicated Assistant, Bar Sorter to join our team in Dammam. This full-time position is crucial for supporting the efficient sorting of rebars according to size, grade, and batch, ensuring accurate delivery and compliance with production schedules.

Core Sorting Responsibilities

• Assist Bar Sorters in the precise identification and segregation of rebars as per specific production requirements.
• Support the movement of sorted bars to their designated stacking or storage locations within the facility.

Material Handling and Equipment Support

• Provide support for the safe transport of rebars within the sorting and cooling bed areas.
• Ensure the safe and proper stacking and alignment of bars.
• Aid in the routine maintenance and cleaning of sorting equipment and associated work areas.
• Report any observed equipment faults or potential safety concerns to supervisors promptly.

Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate effectively with Bar Sorters, Cooling Bed Operators, and Forklift Operators to ensure seamless operational flow.
• Communicate any production-related issues or quality discrepancies to supervisors in a timely manner.

Safety and Workplace Standards

• Adhere strictly to all established safety protocols and consistently wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain the sorting area in a clean and hazard-free condition.
• Actively assist in fostering and maintaining a safe work environment for all personnel.

Required Experience

Candidates for this full-time position should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar industrial or manufacturing environment. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the operational efficiency of Al Tuwairqi Group in Dammam.
