About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Cook III to join the team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position involves preparing and cooking food items in accordance with established recipes, quality standards, and food preparation checklists. The role requires a focus on maintaining high standards of food quality and kitchen hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare food items for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and proper storage.
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables; accurately weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
• Cook food according to recipes, quality standards, plating guidelines, and food preparation checklists.
• Prepare cold food items as required.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Test foods to ensure proper cooking and monitor food quality throughout the preparation process.
• Set up and maintain the workstation in a clean and organized manner.
• Plate food items in appropriate containers and ensure correct portion sizes.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Ensure all equipment and food temperatures are maintained at appropriate levels.

Operational and Safety Duties

• Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, including uniform.
• Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

• Capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High School Diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
