About the Gate Controller Role

Napco National is seeking a dedicated Gate Controller to join its team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience who are committed to maintaining a secure and safe environment. The role is integral to upholding company standards and ensuring the protection of assets and personnel within the premises.

Role Purpose and Context

The Gate Controller plays a critical role in enforcing company regulations and policies, particularly those related to Health, Security, Safety, and Environment (HSSE). This position requires constant vigilance and strict adherence to established procedures to ensure a controlled and secure operational environment, supporting Napco management in achieving its safety objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce company regulations and policies concerning Health, Security, Safety, and Environment.
• Provide necessary assistance to individuals with special needs at entry and exit gates.
• Support Napco management in fostering a safe and secure environment by ensuring 100% implementation of Napco HSSE Procedures.
• Safeguard and secure company assets from deterioration, theft, misuse, and other risks.
• Report any immediate safety or security concerns directly to the supervisor.
• Ensure full compliance with Napco security procedures, including following all guidelines and completing required security forms.
• Monitor property entrances and electronic surveillance equipment to ensure proper functioning and premises security.
• Implement all security directives issued by the HSSE department management.
• Maintain 100% vigilance and presence at assigned security posts during duty hours.
• Respond promptly to any emergency situation and perform required actions in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the safety team regarding safety issues, ensuring the application of safety measures and reporting non-compliance.
• Contain and manage problematic or unusual situations involving employees, contractors, or visitors, escalating issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with plant management to manage security-related exceptions and ensure efficient and secured premises.
• Oversee the consistent implementation of the 5S program within all security guard houses.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Gate Controller position should have 0-1 years of relevant experience. A strong understanding of security protocols and a proactive approach to maintaining safety standards are essential for this role.
