Role Overview: Heavy Duty Mechanic

We are currently seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our full-time team in Dammam. This entry-level position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are eager to develop their skills in mechanical repairs and maintenance. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various mechanical tasks and ensuring a well-maintained work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with brake repair and overhauling procedures.
• Support mechanical troubleshooting efforts to diagnose issues.
• Aid in tire repairs and replacement tasks.
• Provide assistance with welding jobs as required by operational needs.
• Contribute to all mechanical repairs for trucks and flatbeds.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and organization within the work area.
• Confirm that all tools are properly stored and maintained after use.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) Compliance

• Understand and adhere to all organizational HS&E policies and procedures.
• Follow specific safety instructions relevant to assigned tasks.
• Report any damaged Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), unsafe machinery, or equipment to the appropriate staff.
• Maintain provided PPE in good, workable condition.
• Refrain from any horseplay or misuse of safety devices, equipment, and welfare facilities.
• Report all accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions to the responsible personnel.
• Participate in all scheduled safety training sessions.
• Exercise the right to decline any work deemed unsafe.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 0-1 years of experience in a related mechanical field. A foundational understanding of mechanical principles and a willingness to learn and apply safety protocols are essential for success in this role.
