About Amazon Ultra Fast Grocery Operations

Amazon Saudi Arabia (ex-Souq) is establishing a newly formed organization focused on designing and launching new business models across AMET (Africa, Middle East, and Turkey). The Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) operations team is dedicated to redefining fast delivery and building new services for customers. This role is integral to the expansion and operational excellence of these new initiatives.

The Operations Executive Role

We are seeking an Operations Executive to join the Amazon Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) team in Saudi Arabia, specifically supporting operations in Al-Ahsa and Dammam. This full-time position functions as an Operations Lead or Team Lead, responsible for building and running new services, including 3P Store Operations. The successful candidate will ensure Amazon policies, such as attendance tracking, are implemented and administered consistently, while motivating and coaching associates to achieve performance expectations in productivity, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily end-to-end Under the Roof (UTR) operations for either one large site or a combination of smaller sites, overseeing store operations.
• Meet customer-facing metrics while maintaining operational and quality targets.
• Uphold the safety and morale of the team.
• Drive performance management for team members.
• Prepare and implement training and development plans for pickers.
• Collaborate closely with merchant stakeholders to continuously improve operational processes and achieve sustained performance improvement.
• Conduct daily 4M / 5S and Safety GEMBA audits for the stores.
• Act as a stand-in for the Area Manager as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrated experience in an operational role.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or customer-facing environment (preferred).

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Saudi Arabia, with primary locations in Al-Ahsa and Dammam. The role operates within a dynamic and evolving environment focused on ultra-fast grocery delivery.
