About the Project Management Experience Program

GE Vernova is offering a Project Management Experience Program (PMEP) designed to accelerate the development of early career professionals in EPC and project management. This full-time program, commencing in April, spans two years and includes intensive training in both technical and leadership skills. Participants will complete three eight-month rotational assignments, preparing them for roles within the Project Management team in the Gas Power Business in Dammam, Eastern region.

Program Structure and Rotations

The PMEP is structured around three eight-month rotational assignments. Mandatory rotations include field/construction and scheduling. The third rotation will be in another discipline, which may include commercial operations, quality, sourcing, contract management, finance, project controls, logistics, project management, lean, or technical. Participants are expected to demonstrate a strong desire for field work and will gain leadership skills to meet both customer and business objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 8 years of industry experience.
• Ability to complete multi-business, multi-location rotations, and travel both domestically and/or internationally for up to 8 months per rotation.
• Ability to undertake field site rotations.
• Ability to commit to the sponsoring business for 2 years upon graduation from the program.

Desired Characteristics

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience in Power/Energy Industries.
• Experience in contracts.
• Proven leadership skills and prior experience leading projects or teams.
• Construction experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of industry experience with solid performance.
• Excellent written, oral communication, and facilitation skills.

Location and Commitment

This program is based in Dammam, Eastern region. Participants must be prepared for extensive travel and multi-location rotations as part of the program structure. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are expected to commit to the sponsoring business for a period of two years.
