About the Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking a Supervisor, Instrumentation to join their team in Dammam. This full-time role involves overseeing instrumentation activities, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining safety standards within the work environment. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather feedback from Production Shift In-charge / Superintendent (I & C) regarding required work.
  • Plan manpower (Foreman + Technician) for all assigned jobs.
  • Ensure the quality of work and adherence to safety protocols in all work areas.
  • Confirm the availability of spares and consumables for shift activities and report any unavailability to the concerned Superintendent.
  • Follow up on instrument calibration and PM schedules, and prepare corresponding reports.
  • Prepare ISO-related documentation.
  • Perform calibration of weigh feeders and belt weighing systems.
  • Conduct calibration and PM checks for analyzer systems.
  • Coordinate closely with Process and other departments.
  • Conduct required training for subordinates (Foreman & Technician).

Shift Handover Procedures

During shift handover, the Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the following:

  • All pending work permits are addressed.
  • The reliever is informed of all job statuses.
  • Availability of test equipment and common tools.
  • Standard practices are followed, and any deviations are reported.
  • All plant activities are recorded in the shift log.
  • Housekeeping is properly managed after job completion.

Safety and Compliance

Adherence to safety regulations and company policies is paramount for this role. The Supervisor must ensure a safe working environment and promote compliance among the team.

  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Understand and follow organizational HS&E policies.
  • Follow safety instructions related to specific jobs.
  • Report damaged PPE, unsafe machines, or equipment to the concerned staff.
  • Keep provided PPEs in good and workable condition.
  • Avoid horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment, and welfare facilities.
  • Report any accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions to the responsible personnel.
  • Attend planned safety training.
  • Exercise the right to refuse any unsafe work.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 3-8 years of experience in instrumentation or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage manpower effectively.
  • Strong understanding of quality and safety standards in industrial settings.
  • Proficiency in instrument calibration and preventive maintenance.
  • Experience with ISO-related documentation is preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, within the Al Tuwairqi Group. The role requires active participation in ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
