Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit monthly journal entries in SAP.
  • Manage financial reporting and work with Forex deals.
  • Support month-end closing activities and annual budget forecasting.
  • Handle taxation, including VAT and withholding tax preparations.
  • Assist in compliance with local tax regulations and audits.
  • Continuously improve control processes for efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Arabic (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Over 3 years of experience in taxation and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of local taxation and IFRS.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Asmacs Contracting Est. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial operations and participate in joint venture projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all financial operations and accounting activities for the joint venture, including budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with joint venture partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment with financial goals.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze joint venture financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and joint venture agreements.
  • Create and maintain effective internal controls and financial policies to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
  • Coordinate and manage audits, both internal and external.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and support to the joint venture management team, including financial modeling and analysis for decision-making.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions for the joint venture.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the parent company to ensure alignment of financial objectives and reporting.
  • Oversee financial aspects of any new projects or initiatives for the joint venture.

Candidate Profile:
  • CA/CMA and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience.
