The Role of Accounting Assistant

Milaya Contracting Co. is seeking a Saudi National to join as an Accounting Assistant. This is a full-time, hands-on bookkeeping position based in the company's office in King Fahd District, Riyadh. The role involves supporting the Senior Accountant and is suitable for individuals who prioritize accurate record-keeping and balanced financial accounts. The monthly salary for this position is SAR 4,000, all-inclusive.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and disburse petty cash for the office and Riyadh sites, including issuing vouchers, collecting receipts, and performing weekly reconciliations.
• Enter supplier invoices, expenses, and payments into Zoho Books, ensuring correct project and cost code allocation.
• Verify that all supplier invoices comply with ZATCA VAT and e-invoicing requirements before booking.
• Assist with bank reconciliations, payment runs, and month-end filing procedures.
• Track site cash advances issued to foremen and follow up on missing receipts.
• Prepare various Excel schedules, including petty cash logs, expense summaries by project, and receivable follow-ups.

Qualifications and Experience

• Saudi National.
• 0-1 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
• Proficiency in maintaining clean financial records and managing cash.

Work Environment and Compensation

This is a full-time position located at Milaya Contracting Co.'s office in the King Fahd District, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role offers a competitive salary of SAR 4,000 per month, which is all-inclusive.
