About Think and the Opportunity
Think is developing a hardware-aware AI orchestration platform designed to deliver datacenter-grade AI compute capabilities into sovereign environments with high efficiency. The company also builds a deep-tech orchestration system that streamlines complex AI training, fine-tuning, and inference workflows into an adaptive layer, integrated with GPU hardware for maximum performance and control. Founded in Riyadh, Think is expanding rapidly and seeking to build a world-class team. This is a full-time position based in Riyadh.
The Government Account Manager Role
The Government Account Manager will be responsible for owning and expanding Think's named government and sovereign accounts. This role is primarily anchored in Saudi Arabia, with opportunities for expansion into MENA and global markets. The successful candidate will sell Think's hardware products, including SuperNode, UltraNode, RackNode, and TacticalNode, alongside the ILM orchestration platform, to national governments, defense organizations, and other sovereign entities. Key activities include building pipelines from inception, navigating complex procurement environments, and managing deals from initial contact through to deployment. This position also involves identifying market signals to contribute to product roadmap development.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage a named-account portfolio across government and sovereign customers, focusing on growth in KSA, MENA, and globally.
- Drive new logo acquisition and expand existing accounts within the portfolio.
- Lead the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and procurement to contracting, deployment, and renewal.
- Develop comprehensive account plans for each named account, including quarterly business reviews and clear expansion strategies.
- Collaborate with the Senior Solutions Architect to design solutions tailored to customer environments, security postures, and procurement constraints.
- Navigate government procurement, vendor registration, Request for Proposal (RFP), and tender processes across target markets.
- Meet quarterly and annual bookings targets and maintain accurate weekly sales forecasts.
- Provide market intelligence to the product team to help shape the product roadmap.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience selling AI infrastructure, GPU compute, servers, or related deep-tech products to government and sovereign customers.
- Demonstrated local experience at a leading hardware, hyperscale, or AI company, managing named accounts in the AI, GPU, or server categories.
- Deep familiarity with government procurement processes, including vendor registration, tender procedures, and compliance frameworks, in at least one major market.
- An existing network of relationships within KSA government and sovereign entities.
Valued Experience
- Direct experience selling to the KSA government and defense entities.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity and data sovereignty frameworks relevant to AI infrastructure in regulated markets.
- Experience selling SaaS or enterprise software in conjunction with hardware.
- Prior experience within a startup scaling from an early to a growth stage.
