ARCHITECTURAL BIM MODELER

About the Role

Duncan & Ross is seeking an Architectural BIM Modeler to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves developing detailed architectural models and shop drawings for significant entertainment, hospitality, and public-realm projects within Qiddiya. The position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in architectural BIM modeling.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to develop LOD 300–500 architectural models and comprehensive shop drawings. This includes handling complex geometry, façades, and fit-out elements for various building types within the Qiddiya development.

Key Responsibilities

• Model various architectural components including walls, partitions, doors, windows, curtain walls, façades, roofs, stairs, ramps, ceilings, finishes, and fit-out elements.
• Develop models for complex and free-form geometry, as well as parametric façade elements when required.
• Produce General Arrangement (GA) plans, sections, elevations, Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCPs), wall types, door/window schedules, finishes drawings, and detailed shop drawings.
• Coordinate effectively with structural and MEP models, addressing aspects such as ceiling heights, openings, shafts, and plant rooms, and resolving any clashes.
• Manage interfaces and coordination with landscape, signage/wayfinding, and themed-area designers.
• Extract areas and quantities for Quantity Surveyors (QS), including finishes, doors, and glazing.
• Update models to LOD 500 as-built status and incorporate room and asset data for COBie handover.
• Ensure adherence to the project's BIM Execution Plan (BEP), QIC BIM standards, and ISO 19650 Common Data Environment (CDE) processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in architectural BIM modeling.
• Demonstrated experience in developing LOD 300–500 architectural models.
• Proficiency in producing detailed shop drawings and various architectural documentation.
• Experience with complex geometry, façades, and fit-out modeling.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focusing on large-scale entertainment, hospitality, and public-realm projects.
