About Agoda and the Role

Agoda, a global travel platform and part of Booking Holdings [NASDAQ: BKNG], connects people to destinations and experiences worldwide through its extensive offerings of hotels, holiday properties, flights, and experiences. Operating with a diverse team of over 7,000 individuals across 90 countries, Agoda leverages data and technology to drive innovation in the travel sector. We are seeking an Associate Manager Marketing Strategy to join our full-time team in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Performance Marketing Team

The Performance Marketing Team at Agoda is a leader in online marketing, characterized by its highly data-driven approach. The team focuses on developing scalable marketing programs designed to enhance the lifetime value of Agoda customers through measurable channels. Comprising analysts, marketing strategists, and data scientists, the team fosters a collaborative learning environment where members can grow by working alongside experts from diverse global backgrounds. Marketing leadership brings deep experience in data science, product, and strategy, cultivating an organization that thrives on data, creative ideas, and technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experiment with text ads, bidding strategies, and campaign structures across major search engines including Google, Bing, Baidu, and Naver.
  • Adapt to new product features and implement changes based on successful test outcomes.
  • Test, analyze, and optimize display campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Analyze extensive data generated from experiments to develop models for optimization.
  • Build comprehensive dashboards for account managers to monitor performance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from a top university in a quantitative subject such as computer science, mathematics, engineering, or science.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in top-tier management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or strategy/business operations within a fast-growing, globally operating tech company.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English.

Essential Skills and Tools

  • Exposure to one or more data analysis packages or databases, including SAS, R, SPSS, Python, VBA, or SQL.
  • Demonstrated numerical reasoning skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in digital marketing.
  • Academic research experience.
