Civil Engineer

About the Role

Dar Al Dawa Development & Investment Co is seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience. The role focuses on ensuring the quality, compliance, and timely execution of civil and structural works within projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review civil and structural drawings, plans, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate civil and structural requirements with consultants, contractors, suppliers, engineering, and maintenance teams.
• Review shop drawings, material specifications, method statements, samples, and contractor submissions.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor quality, progress, and compliance.
• Ensure civil works comply with approved drawings, specifications, the Saudi Building Code, safety requirements, and company standards.
• Monitor project activities against schedules, quality requirements, budgets, and assigned scope.
• Review quantities, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity take-offs, and technical requirements.
• Support the technical evaluation of contractors, suppliers, materials, and engineering proposals.
• Participate in inspections, snagging, testing, handover, and project close-out activities.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, drawings, quantity records, and project documentation.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2 to 5 years of experience in civil engineering, demonstrating a solid understanding of civil and structural project requirements and execution.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a collaborative team environment, coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
