About the Co-op Engineering Intern Program

WSP Middle East is offering a Co-op Training Program in Riyadh for motivated Saudi National students. This program is designed for individuals currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline who require cooperative training as a mandatory component for graduation. It provides an opportunity to gain practical experience within a global engineering consultancy.

Program Focus and Disciplines

The Co-op Training Program offers hands-on experience supporting project teams and contributing to project delivery within a multidisciplinary environment. Interns will develop practical and professional skills across various engineering and technical disciplines, including:

• Civil Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Landscape Engineering
• Architectural Engineering
• Other relevant engineering and technical disciplines

Internship Responsibilities

Interns will engage in a range of activities designed to support project teams and enhance their professional development. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting project teams with day-to-day technical and project-related activities.
• Assisting in the preparation of technical documents, drawings, reports, and presentations.
• Participating in team meetings and project coordination activities.
• Conducting research, data gathering, and analysis to support project delivery.
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Performing other tasks relevant to the assigned discipline under supervision.

Eligibility and Program Requirements

Candidates interested in the Co-op Training Program must meet the following criteria to be eligible:

• Cooperative Training (COOP) must be a mandatory requirement for graduation from their university program.
• Provide an official university letter confirming the COOP requirement and the proposed training period.
• Submit an academic transcript demonstrating good academic standing.
• Be available for the entire required training period, in accordance with university requirements.
• Be eligible to register under the COOP program via Qiwa/HRDF, where applicable.
