About the Role of General Accountant

Italian Dairy Products is seeking a General Accountant to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of experience. The role involves significant exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting, budgeting, and customer billing, demanding an organized approach and an analytical mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate general ledger records and prepare daily journal entries.
Monitor production costs, raw materials consumption, and finished goods inventory.
Review supplier invoices, purchase orders, and goods receipt documents.
Reconcile inventory balances and support periodic physical stock counts.
Assist in monthly closing activities, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Support cost analysis and variance reporting for cheese manufacturing operations.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable VAT requirements.

Required Experience and Skills

A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting.
Demonstrated ability to manage monthly closing processes.
Proficiency in forecasting and budgeting.
Strong organizational skills and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
