About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a dedicated Golf Equipment Operator to join its team in Riyadh Province, Riyadh. This contract role is essential for the safe and efficient operation of various golf course machinery and equipment, supporting the overall maintenance efforts to ensure the golf course remains in top condition.

Role Context and Contribution

The Golf Equipment Operator plays a crucial part in the groundskeeping team by handling specialized tools such as mowers and sprayers. This position requires strong technical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a steadfast commitment to maintaining safety standards while operating machinery and performing related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate various golf course machinery, including mowers, tractors, and sprayers, to support course maintenance activities.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and perform basic maintenance to ensure all machinery is in optimal working order.
• Promptly report any malfunctions or damages to the maintenance supervisor or mechanic.
• Assist in the application of fertilizers, pesticides, and other turf treatments as directed, strictly adhering to all safety protocols.
• Adhere to all established safety guidelines and procedures when operating equipment and handling chemicals.
• Collaborate effectively with the groundskeeping team to execute maintenance schedules efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and all maintenance activities performed.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in operating golf course or heavy machinery is preferred.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Proficiency in operating various types of golf course equipment.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
