Our platform combines enterprise applications, intelligent automation, system integrations, workflow orchestration, and AI capabilities to deliver measurable business outcomes. We are seeking a Head of Enterprise Solutions Engineering & Delivery to lead the design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing delivery of enterprise technology solutions. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires a hands-on leader with over 10 years of experience.

Role Purpose and Scope

This leadership role encompasses solution architecture, customer implementation, platform engineering, technical program management, operational reliability, security, quality assurance, and overall delivery leadership. The successful candidate will own the customer delivery lifecycle, from technical discovery and solution design through configuration, integration, testing, deployment, production readiness, and post-launch stabilization. This is a technically demanding position requiring commercial awareness, customer-facing capabilities, and the ability to make practical architecture and delivery decisions while balancing immediate customer commitments with long-term platform strategy. The role operates with ambiguity, requires end-to-end ownership, and focuses on creating scalable platforms and repeatable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures, and design solutions involving enterprise applications, APIs, and AI agents.
• Own enterprise implementation projects from initial kickoff through production launch, managing scope, timelines, resources, and customer expectations.
• Contribute directly to backend services, system integrations, APIs, and platform components, establishing reusable integration patterns and engineering best practices.
• Lead discovery, configuration, customization, migration, and integration activities for enterprise business systems across various functions.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate intelligent agents and automation into enterprise processes, ensuring compliance with security and operational requirements.
• Define and enforce deployment, infrastructure, security, and operational standards, supporting cloud architecture, CI/CD, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
• Define quality standards, establish automated testing practices, and coordinate various testing phases to ensure release readiness and quality.
• Build repeatable delivery processes, mentor team members, support hiring, and provide clear reporting on project status and delivery performance.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise software engineering, solution architecture, systems implementation, or technical delivery.
• 3+ years of experience leading enterprise customer implementations or complex technical programs.
• Strong experience designing and delivering integrated enterprise software solutions.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, APIs, databases, authentication, authorization, and cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with modern backend programming languages and software development frameworks.
• Experience with enterprise applications, workflow systems, business process automation, and operational platforms.
• Working knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, containers, cloud environments, monitoring, and infrastructure security.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security principles, including identity, access control, and data isolation.
• Experience defining testing strategies and managing enterprise release readiness.
• Excellent customer-facing, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Strong project management, prioritization, documentation, and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to operate effectively in an early-stage, fast-moving environment with limited resources.
• Professional fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering AI-enabled enterprise products or intelligent automation solutions.
• Experience integrating large language models, intelligent agents, or AI orchestration platforms.
• Experience with major cloud computing platforms and cloud-native architectures, particularly multi-tenant platforms.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian enterprise procurement, cybersecurity, data residency, and compliance expectations.
• Experience with enterprise authentication, single sign-on, identity federation, and access management.
• Experience working with recognized security, governance, risk, or compliance frameworks.
• Experience developing implementation methodologies, delivery playbooks, and professional services teams.
• Relevant certifications in cloud architecture, cybersecurity, project management, enterprise architecture, or software engineering.

Role Evolution and Team Leadership

This role demands ownership of architecture and delivery outcomes across multiple technical and operational disciplines. While initially operating as a hands-on leadership position, the successful candidate will progressively build and scale a specialized team covering solution architecture, implementation, platform engineering, infrastructure, security, and quality assurance as Nakhla AI grows. This involves mentoring existing team members and supporting the hiring and development of the future solutions engineering and delivery organization.
