About the Role: HSE Engineers at Rumoz Consulting Engineers

Rumoz Consulting Engineers is seeking dedicated HSE Engineers to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across our projects. Role Purpose and Impact

The HSE Engineer plays a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining effective safety systems and practices. This position ensures adherence to occupational health and safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices. The successful candidate will contribute to a culture of safety, protecting personnel and assets while ensuring project compliance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safe work practices and maintain regulatory compliance in Health & Safety and Occupational Health.
• Design and maintain effective safety systems based on Environment Health and Safety (EHS) principles and Safety Engineering.
• Deliver HSE Training, safety orientations, and awareness programs for multidisciplinary project teams.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant HSE role.
• Demonstrated expertise in Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices.
• Strong knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) principles and Safety Engineering.
• Proven experience in delivering HSE Training, safety orientations, and awareness programs.
• Familiarity with KSA HSE regulations, international standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, and construction/engineering industry practices.

Essential Skills and Certifications

• Strong analytical skills for conducting risk assessments and evaluating safety data.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, essential for reporting and training.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various project stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Relevant professional certifications in HSE, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent, are considered a significant advantage.
