The Role: IT Security Specialist

Geidea is seeking an IT Security Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The primary purpose of this full-time role is to establish a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy for the organization. This involves designing and implementing robust security measures and continuously evaluating new security technologies to protect our computer systems, networks, and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate security technologies and tools.
• Manage and respond to all security incidents effectively.
• Contribute to IT risk identification, classification, and response processes.
• Support the enterprise risk management process as needed.
• Perform technical security project implementations and ensure project deadlines are met.
• Manage user access and permissions to systems and data.
• Research and stay informed on current security threats and vulnerabilities relevant to information systems.
• Configure and maintain various security systems, including AV/EDR/FIM/NDR/DLP/DC/Email Security.
• Provide support during InfoSec audits (Internal, External, PCI, and SAMA).

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in IT Security roles.
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in IT security.

Location and Employment Details

This is a full-time position based in our offices in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The salary for this role will be discussed during the interview process.
