The Opportunity

BD is seeking a Key Account Manager Pharmacy Automation (PA) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability by promoting and selling Pharmacy Automation products, solutions, and services across the Central Region of Saudi Arabia. The position focuses on developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and delivering sustainable business growth through a customer-centric approach. A key objective is to expand and strengthen the Pharmacy Automation business within the Ministry of Health (MOH) sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify business opportunities for Pharmacy Automation products and relevant stakeholders within assigned accounts and territories.
  • Drive business growth within the Ministry of Health (MOH) by developing strategic relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new opportunities, and supporting the successful implementation of Pharmacy Automation solutions.
  • Lead engagement with government healthcare institutions and relevant MOH decision-makers to expand market presence and achieve business objectives.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and solution-design teams to develop customer opportunities.
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans aligned with regional sales strategies.
  • Achieve agreed annual sales, revenue, and growth targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
  • Manage complex multi-account agreements and negotiations.
  • Convert sales opportunities into profitable business outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasting, and CRM records.
  • Collaborate across functions to deliver customer solutions and business growth.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant account management or sales capacity. The position requires a proven ability to develop strategic customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and manage key accounts, particularly within the healthcare sector and government institutions. Experience in pharmacy automation or medical technology sales is preferred.
