About the Maintenance Planner Role at Nestlé Saudi Arabia

Nestlé Saudi Arabia is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to leading, governing, and improving the maintenance planning process across the site. The Maintenance Planner will establish routine and extraordinary maintenance plans for all site assets, ensuring activities are executed on time and in full to maintain healthy assets, enable safe operations, and uphold food safety, quality, and compliance standards. This position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive routine and extraordinary maintenance plans for all site assets, integrating OEM plans into the Asset & Maintenance Management (AMM) system to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
• Lead and govern the maintenance planning standard routine, including task prioritization, scheduling maintenance shutdowns in collaboration with production, and reviewing work order execution for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with third-party maintenance service providers to ensure timely task execution as per specifications, and collaborate with the technical store team for efficient kitting processes.
• Monitor and track the execution of maintenance activities, addressing deviations or delays promptly to improve efficiency and effectiveness, while ensuring compliance with AMM standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support the preparation and implementation of maintenance plans for CAPEX projects and new lines, ensuring adequate resources (labor, parts, third parties, budgets) and establishing routines from the start of new assets.

Strategic Focus and Optimization

• Drive continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and optimizing maintenance plans within AMM to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the planning system.
• Coordinate the deployment of Maintenance Excellence Packages (MEP) across the site asset base, establishing governance to align asset performance and maintenance costs with expected MEP benefits.
• Leverage digital solutions to optimize maintenance, including integrating Predictive Maintenance (PdM) into AMM, enabling real-time reporting of technical parameters, and adopting AMM Mobile for improved accessibility.
• Analyze and optimize the end-to-end life cycle costs of maintenance activities, identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing maintenance budgets in collaboration with finance and procurement teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a reputed college or university.
• 2-3 years of experience in a maintenance area, preferably within Plant Operations & Maintenance.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Asset Maintenance Management systems.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, reliability-centered maintenance, and asset management principles.
• Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as SAP and other relevant software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet established deadlines.
• Insight into TPM PM Pillar methodology and Governance.
