Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a dedicated Medical Equipment Sterilization Technician to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety within medical environments, contributing directly to patient care and operational excellence.

Role Overview

The Medical Equipment Sterilization Technician is responsible for the meticulous cleaning, maintenance, and preparation of medical and surgical tools used in hospitals. This critical function aims to prevent the spread of germs and infection, ensuring all equipment is safe and ready for use in various medical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Decontaminate surgical and medical instruments according to established protocols.
Decontaminate operating areas and set up equipment for surgical procedures.
Ensure hospital compliance with regulatory standards and implement measures to protect patients from infection.
Assemble various types of medical equipment accurately.
Perform routine testing and quality control checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Conduct equipment inventory and restock supplies as needed.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive sterilization records.
Organize tools, sort mismatched sets of instruments, and ensure their timely availability for physicians.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should have 0-1 years of experience in medical equipment sterilization or a related field.

Work Environment

This role is performed entirely indoors. The work schedule includes one day off per week, with daily working hours from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 5 PM to 9 PM, incorporating a four-hour break between 1 PM and 5 PM.
