About the Role

Points Information Technology is seeking a Microsoft Security Specialist to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is open to candidates with 0-1 years of experience who are prepared to contribute to our cybersecurity initiatives. The specialist will be instrumental in strengthening our overall cybersecurity posture, safeguarding our hybrid and cloud infrastructure, and protecting our digital assets.

While managing general security operations and incident response, a primary focus for this role will be the administration and optimization of our core Microsoft ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement Zero Trust principles, manage identity governance, and enforce access controls including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Secure endpoints across various platforms utilizing unified management tools (MDM/MAM), deployment baselines, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
• Maintain robust email security controls, actively prevent phishing and spoofing threats, and manage core email authentication protocols such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Monitor security alerts, perform comprehensive threat analysis, respond effectively to security incidents, and continuously work to improve the overall security posture and hardening baselines.
• Assist in the enforcement of security policies, conduct vulnerability management activities, and promote security best practices throughout the organization.

Required Skills and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a cybersecurity-related role.
• Understanding of Identity & Access Management concepts, including Zero Trust principles, identity governance, MFA, Conditional Access, and RBAC.
• Familiarity with Endpoint & Device Security strategies, including unified management tools (MDM/MAM), deployment baselines, and EDR solutions.
• Knowledge of Email & Threat Protection mechanisms, including prevention of phishing/spoofing threats and management of authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Ability to monitor security alerts, perform threat analysis, and contribute to incident response processes.
• Awareness of security policies, vulnerability management, and driving security best practices.

Technical Focus Areas

This role places a significant emphasis on administering and optimizing security within the Microsoft ecosystem, specifically involving:

• Microsoft Entra ID
• Microsoft Intune
• Microsoft email security solutions
• Microsoft endpoint protection technologies

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in our office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
