About the Internship

The Operations Intern will provide essential support to the Laboratory Operations team. This role offers hands-on experience in coordinating daily operational activities, maintaining critical documentation, and managing inventory within a specialized laboratory setting. Interns will contribute to quality practices and workflow coordination, gaining insight into the operational backbone of a genomics and diagnostics company.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day laboratory operations and administrative activities.
• Support inventory management, including stock monitoring and supply tracking.
• Maintain and organize operational records, logs, and documentation.
• Aid in the preparation of reports, trackers, and operational metrics.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient workflow execution.
• Support documentation activities related to quality and compliance.
• Assist with onboarding and logistics coordination for laboratory staff and visitors.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and operational projects.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Laboratory Operations team.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of relevant experience, ideally within a laboratory or operational support role.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate records.
