About the Role

W Hotels is seeking an Operator Room Service to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves managing room service orders and guest inquiries, ensuring efficient and professional service delivery. The role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 year of experience.

Key Responsibilities

Receive room service orders via telephone and address guest questions regarding menu selections, consulting kitchen staff as needed.
Respond to guest inquiries about the origin, vintage, and style of various wines.
Schedule and log call-backs for room service orders, informing guests and management of any service delays.
Relay specific meal requirements, allergy information, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout the shift.
Process transactions using the MICROS system at the time of order and complete all required closing reports, including MICROS reports.
Handle all accepted payment methods accurately.

Operational Standards and Conduct

Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management; and complete necessary safety training and certifications.
Ensure a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and safeguard company assets.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guest service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation to guests.
Communicate clearly and professionally with others, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team in achieving common goals.
Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
