Planning Manager

About the Role

AECOM Saudi Arabia is seeking a Planning Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring alignment with financial performance, and supporting project control functions. The role requires a fundamental understanding of planning and scheduling principles within a construction context.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop fundamental knowledge of planning and scheduling concepts and principles, including their effects on financial performance.
• Become familiar with data sources for schedule development and identify and investigate project schedule variances.
• Collect data, update, and produce scheduling reports.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
• Develop familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and construction contracting.
• Possess a fundamental understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
• Review and understand engineering, procurement, and construction schedule logic.
• Assist in assembling data for schedule updating and measuring project schedule progress.
• Develop knowledge of scope control, change management, and earned value methodology.
• Support data gathering and produce initial analysis for schedule baseline development and maintenance.
• Gain exposure to basic scheduling and cost baseline fundamentals, concepts, and principles.
