About Misk Schools and the Role

Misk Schools is seeking a dedicated Procurement Officer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement operations for the organization. The role requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in procurement.

Purpose of the Procurement Officer

The primary objective of the Procurement Officer is to participate in all aspects of procurement, focusing on achieving cost savings and supplying the business requirements in the most convenient and conventional ways. This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and supporting the school's needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers to ensure optimal choices.
• Request quotes and compare prices to achieve maximum return on investment (ROI).
• Create and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate appropriate contracts for pricing and supply agreements.
• Examine and review products and supplies to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Track incoming inventory, monitor delivery arrival times, and record actual arrival times.
• Organize and update the database of suppliers, delivery times, invoices, and supply quantities.
• Analyze potential vendors and suppliers to meet future project needs.
• Assist in monitoring legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to purchasing and procurement.
• Ensure all deliveries contain the complete quantity of goods requested.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on contracts, invoicing, and other financial matters.
• Maintain and update supplier information, including qualifications, delivery times, and product ranges.
• Work effectively as a team member with colleagues across the organization.
• Maintain a stakeholder-focused approach in all activities.
• Work flexibly to adapt to the evolving needs of the organization.
• Innovate systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within procurement.
• Maintain accurate historical records of procurement activities.
• Undertake additional duties as and when required by the line manager.
