About Alec Fitout

ALEC FITOUT, the specialist interiors division of ALEC Holdings PJSC, focuses on high-end fit-out and refurbishment projects across various sectors including 5-star hotels, luxury retail, commercial, and cultural destinations. ALEC Holdings PJSC is a leading GCC construction group, part of the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD), known for delivering complex and high-profile projects. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of projects, overseeing the coordination, execution, and delivery of client-requested works. This role ensures that projects are completed to the highest quality standards, within budget, and with efficient management of resources and materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review contract documentation, project schedules, bills of quantity, and construction/design information to develop and implement project plans.
  • Direct and motivate project staff to achieve project objectives successfully.
  • Ensure construction documentation is available promptly, sufficiently detailed, and coordinated for works execution.
  • Administer coordination with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Attend, coordinate, and document regular meetings with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors, providing instructions to the project team.
  • Oversee the coordination of all Local Authorities submissions, approvals, and inspections to ensure a fully commissioned and functional building handover.
  • Guide the project team to ensure efficient engineering, production, and scheduling.
  • Manage material submittals for all materials, equipment, and systems, securing consultant/client approval.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and submit shop drawings, design calculations, and technical submittals for approval.
  • Oversee sourcing, ordering (through Procurement), and logistics of all approved materials and equipment required for installation.
  • Conduct site management and coordination of all Fitout activities according to project schedules.
  • Perform equipment and material inspections with consultant representatives.
  • Prepare and submit installation method statements for all materials, equipment, and systems.
  • Prepare and submit installation inspection requests and obtain consultant approval.
  • Coordinate and conduct equipment and systems testing and commissioning activities with suppliers and consultant representatives.
  • Facilitate design coordination with main contractors, subcontractors, interior designers, architects, and consultants.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in a construction environment.
  • Demonstrated significant experience in Hospitality, Retail, and Office Fit Out projects.
  • Proven experience in luxurious Fit-Out projects.
  • Prior working experience within the Middle East Construction market.
