The Role of Quality Control Engineer

IBSF is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products, processes, and operations consistently meet established quality standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections, testing, and measurements as required.
• Identify, document, and investigate quality issues and non-conformities.
• Perform root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Prepare and maintain quality control reports, records, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
• Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze quality data and recommend improvements to reduce defects and improve efficiency.
• Ensure inspection and testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Handle final inspection with clients, consultants, TPI, and external auditors.
• Attend and run Kick-off meetings & PIM.

Candidate Profile and Experience

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and proactive, possessing 2-5 years of experience in a quality control engineering role. This experience should demonstrate a proven ability to manage quality assurance processes and ensure adherence to industry standards in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Collaboration and Compliance Focus

This role emphasizes strong collaboration with various internal departments, including production and engineering, to effectively address and resolve quality-related concerns. A key aspect involves ensuring rigorous compliance with established company procedures, quality standards, and relevant regulatory frameworks throughout all operational stages.
