About ABB and the Role

At ABB, we focus on helping industries operate more efficiently and sustainably. This full-time position for a Sales Engineer, Motion Drive Products, is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role reports to the Area Sales Manager and MODP – Local Division Manager.

ABB Motion Division Overview

ABB Motion provides technology, products, solutions, and services to industrial customers. The division's focus is on increasing energy efficiency, improving safety and reliability, and maintaining precise process control. The portfolio includes motors, generators, and drives for various applications across industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for the sales of products and solutions within a designated market or division, aligning with the division's strategy. Key responsibilities include:

• Achieving qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.
• Identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
• Communicating details regarding delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions to customers, in line with ABB’s offerings and strategy.
• Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicating the value proposition to customers.
• Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities within the designated market.
• Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting cash collection and project management activities as needed.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar sales engineering role.

This role is part of a dynamic team within the Drive Products Division in Saudi Arabia, operating in a fast-growing business environment.
