The Role of Senior Accountant

Carly is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage and oversee daily accounting operations. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh. The role involves ensuring the accuracy of financial records and compliance with accounting standards for a growing e-commerce and automotive platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
• Execute month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and monitor cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations.
• Review and analyze financial data to support budgeting and forecasting.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights for decision-making.
• Coordinate with external auditors.
• Improve internal controls and accounting processes.
• Assist in implementing best practices in financial reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage comprehensive accounting operations.
• Strong understanding of financial statement preparation and cash flow monitoring.
• Proficiency in accounting standards and regulatory compliance.
