About Ma'aden and the Senior Analyst Role

This full-time position for a Senior Analyst, Business II is based in Riyadh.

Role Overview

The Senior Analyst, Business II is responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data to generate insights and recommendations that inform business strategy and decision-making. This role directly contributes to steering the business direction by providing accurate and actionable analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs), market trends, and other relevant data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and analyze data from diverse sources including production planning, financial statements, market research reports, and internal databases. Utilize statistical analysis tools and data visualization techniques to identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
  • Track and monitor business performance by regularly reviewing and analyzing key metrics and KPIs, assessing financial performance, sales figures, and market share. Provide insights to improve performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to strategic planning by providing data-driven insights and recommendations. Develop and maintain financial models for growth projects, optimize resource allocation, and develop strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, operations, and strategy, to gather data, understand business needs, and ensure analysis aligns with broader organizational goals.
  • Stay updated with the latest analytical tools, techniques, and industry trends, committing to continuous learning and improvement of analytical skills.
  • Handle ad-hoc requests, extracting valuable insights from financial datasets and creating customized reports to address specific inquiries.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in business analysis or a related analytical field.
